Al-ahlia spinning & weaving Co. in Aleppo is considered one of the biggest spinning & weaving companies in Syrian Arab Republic. It was founded in the first of January 1967 after joining the following companies:

• Nationalized Alahlia Spinning& Weaving Co.  ( Aleppo )
• The nationalized company fabric of saem aldahir ( Aleppo )
• The industrial projects company for yarns and fabrics in Aleppo

According to the decision of industry minister No. / 1204/ dated 21.08.1966. the integrate company was nationalized according to the institutional decree No. /1/ dated 24. April1964 and decree No. / 1 / dated 2.January 1964.
The company with its three factories and main center is situated at present in Aleppo – Balleramoun road- beside the labor’s Shihan Hospital.
The Planned number of workers is 1050 worker.
The company is consisted of the following main sections:

1. factory (1) contains: (A) a weaving hall, (B) spinning of combed wool project, (C) yarn’s dyeing laundry.
2. factory (2) contain: blended synthetic spinning hall and dyeing laundry for fabrics.
